Searching for an idea to create a work of art that stimulates different senses simultaneously (not only sight), I remembered the story about The Bauhaus school and Johannes Itten’s color theory; to understand color means not only taking into account colour’s contrasting properties but also its emotional affect.
The story that was told to me is that Itten gave his students a lemon to eat before he allowed them to use lemon yellow coloured paint.
