Refugee Only

2003 - Cow leather, iron, fabric, personal items (toothpaste, brush, soap, torch, knife, sanitary napkins, etc.), photographs (3 rows of approx. 30 x 300 cm)

‘Refugee Only’ consists of two costumes, of which the shape is more reminiscent of a shelter rather than a garment. One costume is made of textile for common people, while the leather costume with commercial brands buckles, is made for the elite. These two shelters refer to the current global reality of migration and natural disasters in which everybody has to be ready to become a refugee.
