These two costumes are each made out of two goat skins. In Javanese Moslem tradition, when celebrating the birth of a new born child, one goat is slaughtered for a daughter and two goats are slaughtered for a son. One goatskin is not enough to cover an adult body, thus requiring two skins to cover a person.
