This work expresses my worry about ‘what is getting lost’ and the mental state where people find themselves at the moment. Customary (adat in Indonesian) rules are replaced by religious rules, which leads to less respect for local wisdom, history, ancestry and syncretism. Indonesia’s rich mythologies and local believes are fading, and dogmatic approaches are gaining the upper hand. This work is about positioning ourselves, using common sense, back to a default state of humanity, where values are perpetually renewed.
